Katherine Pierson

Katherine Pierson serves as the Office Manager and Paralegal at the firm, supporting the three attorneys at Malicoat Law, PLC, across a range of legal matters. In this dual role, Katheine handles case preparation, document management, scheduling, and client communication, while also overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office. Before entering the legal field, she worked as a paramedic for 10 years, serving the Midland, Saginaw, and Bay counties. That experience cultivated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Her communication skills were honed through extensive interaction with the public in a wide range of circumstances, including high-stress and emotionally challenging situations.

Katherine holds an Associate's degree in Business with a concentration in Paralegal Studies and graduated with highest honors through Delta College, which provided a foundation in both legal procedures and office administration.

In 2024, in recognition of her academic success, leadership capabilities, and citizenship contributions, she was the sole recipient of the Dr. William R. Collings Award of Excellence.
